Individual Therapy

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Individual therapy is a space where you can meet yourself again, in your own way, at your own pace.

The topics people bring to me are as varied as the people themselves. Some come in an acute crisis. Others have been carrying something for a long time – a feeling that won't go away, a pattern that keeps repeating, deep exhaustion or overwhelm. Others simply sense that they have lost themselves somewhere and want to be more themselves again.

What a session with me looks like

No session is like another – and that's intentional. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we pause and sense what shows up in the body. Sometimes we work with images, metaphors or creative methods. What we use, we decide together – guided by what feels right for you and what is needed in the moment.

I work with different therapeutic approaches: body-oriented, trauma-sensitive, multigenerational, narrative, solution-focused. Always adapted to you.

More about my way of working: My Approach

How it works

1. Initial consultation
We meet at the practice for a first conversation. You share what's on your mind – I listen, ask questions, and together we explore whether we're a good fit.

2. Cost coverage
Private health insurers (PKV) typically cover the costs directly. Please check the exact conditions with your insurer. Those insured through statutory health insurance (GKV) can use the cost-reimbursement procedure – I will support you in submitting the application. Self-paying clients are also welcome.

3. Our journey together
If we decide to work together, we develop a framework – frequency, themes, goals. Everything stays flexible and is oriented around you.

Costs

Statutory health insurance (GKV)

Statutory health insurers generally cover the costs of psychotherapy at my practice. I am happy to guide you through the cost-reimbursement process. Please note that Barmer and AOK currently reject all cost-reimbursement applications as a blanket policy.

Private health insurance (PKV)

Private health insurers generally cover fees in full, though exact conditions depend on your insurance contract. Please check the scope of coverage with your insurer.

Self-pay

You can also choose to cover the costs partly or fully yourself. Billing is based on the current fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP).

Regardless of who covers the costs, the treatment contract is between you and me. The invoice is issued to you. I cannot be held responsible if your health insurer does not cover the full treatment costs.
